Next Project: An Old One!
Well, I've been digging into a lot of different things lately with Kollectiv out the door.. Woohoo! My first completed XNA game! heh.. I've been experimenting following Reimers tutorials on 3D, which is something I have NEVER gotten into.. and I have also been playing with a platformer type project.. Problem is, I hate tiles.. Really really hate tiles.. So i'm trying to work on a way to do pixel perfect collision using a mask of the level. I want the oddball ramps, etc.. using tiles just feels too limiting.
Soooo.. in the meantime while working and experimenting, I'm going to get in there and finish up Suu-ey! The gameplay is all done already except for some powerups, hindrances, etc.. I just need to add in some sort of game state manager (not sure if I will use the GSM or not).. and then work on a bug with collision detection along the fences. And of course, Im going to need sound effects and music.. I've got an opening title song, but some in game music would help!
Well, back to work then home, then fishing I think, then maybe some work on Suu-ey!
